Disability Writing Project
Feb. 23rd, 2011 11:02 pmI'm posting this here since I have a lot of followers and I feel it's very important to get the word out and gain some support.
A fellow author, R.J. Scott, is doing a project in support of Autism Awareness Day in addition to any other disabilities out there. Other writers (You do not need to be published, this is volunteer only) will be either donating their e-books or submitting a piece. I will be doing the latter. This is non-profit, but being someone with a disability myself, I feel very strongly about supporting a cause like this. My piece will be near and dear, since it'll be based on my personal experiences.
Even if you don't submit anything, spreading the word would also be helpful and there's going to be a lot of good reads out there for those who enjoy reading.
