catriana_fictionThe second novel in my Arcanus Series, Bound by Blood, was accepted by my publisher. More news on that as it comes.
Some folks on FF have been asking me what happened to Cursed Lineages. I deleted it. The truth is, I can't even remember the plot for that story, and my writing style has changed so much I don't feel motivated enough to continue, so I took the best course of action. I don't believe in leaving unfinished fics up on FF.net, that's what this journal is for. Instead, I've been going over ficlets I wrote a while back involving the characters from Cursed Lineages, and created a new fic called A Fan in the Sun. That fic is pretty much replacing Cursed Lineages. If you've been keeping up with me on DeviantArt the fics will be familiar, although I have (and will be) edited them heavily for better flow.
The same reason I deleted Cursed Lineages is the reason why Closer hasn't been updated. I look at it now and I hate the writing style. It's a little difficult to work on something you're not enjoying, which is why I haven't finished it. I've been working on it like, a sentence at a time every now and then, so please be patient. I will finish it, eventually. I just need to think of an ending.
A few people have expressed interest in my original works. You can find all of my titles here and a very short story here. The Arcanus Series, will be my biggest focus, so please look forward to seeing more of that world.
The Samurai SasuHina story is still being worked on. I recently finished chapter 3, but will be going back through chapters 1 and 2 before going on to chapter 4. But right now, my original works are my highest priority because I want to pursue my dream of being a full time writer.
