Novel Idea (Transcendence)

catriana_fictionThis takes place during the same time as Demon King but based off of two different characters. Since I'm a freak on a yaoi kick it is indeed a yaoi story. Lemme alone.
Characters:
Rori vil Wesser - A 19 year old nobleman from the Bavarian kingdom engaged to Maria en Vizbak, also a noble. He has two secrets. One, he's the first Human being that can cast magic. Ever. However, in the Demon King storyline anything that can cast magic is non-human and humans are currently hating on anything and everything not human. In short, he's gotta keep his shiat under wraps. His second secret (which is kinda/sorta worst than the first considering his situation) is that he isn't attracted to women. At all. Around 5'7, thin build, short white hair (They consider him an albino) pale skin and blue eyes. His element is Water. He has a best friend named Kaden who he has grown up with. Kaden knows all of his secrets. Rori has a rather meek, passive personality. He's very kind and starts out a little naive and trusting. Sheltered but very intelligent.
Kaden vil Larchs - a 19 year old nobleman from the Bavarian kingdom engaged to Hannah en Zolts, cousin to Maria. He's been Rori's best friend since forevar, the two boys were inseparable. He's bigger than Rori, 6' with black hair and dark brown eyes. He's more serious and the 'backbone' of the friendship. During their days in the academy he defended Rori often from the other children and so Rori ended up growing a sort of dependency on him. Kaden didn't mind this until he began to realize his feelings weren't exactly platonic. His family is quite religious and he has been engaged to Hannah since they were born (they are friends, actually). Kaden's feelings are discovered by his younger sister, who exposes it to the family. When he's busted he sells Rori out, saying that Rori manipulated him with magic and that he doesn't want to have those feelings but can't help it. Thusly starting a chain of events that leads Rori to have to leave.
Xene - When Xersi, Demon King of the South, disappeared he ended up in grey dragon lands. He was picked up and brought to Xene, king of the dragon race. He told Xene about what was going on outside of the dragon realms and so the dragon king decides to venture out and see what Xersi is talking about. Along the way he is pulled to the Bavarian Kingdom for some reason he is unsure of and runs across Rori, who, because he is intune with the spirits, sees through his illusion. This intrigues him and it is quickly realized that the boy is a potential lifemate. This is not the first 'lifemate' he's encountered and he's older than Rioran(much older) so he doesn't react automatically. Instead he has Rori meet up with him, telling him that he can teach him how to properly use his powers. When Rori's secrets are discovered Xene rescues him. Past that I'm not too sure. Xene stands at around 6'4 with short silver hair and golden eyes(all dragons have gold eyes). He doesn't take much seriously, mostly because he's old as hell and life tends to become kind of a joke after a a few millenia. He does know Rioran and the two get along about as well as a cat and a dog. Xene loves fucking with Rioran because it's so easy. Around Rori he's a tad bit more serious and he grows a fondness for him and eventually decides to bond with him.
Not sure how many folks read the NaNoWriMo post I made but this is basically the original story I had, just with all of the characters and setting changed up. Rori and Xene will make a cameo appearance in Demon King.
